Tutoring Sessions
Crestview Preparatory requires all students to make satisfactory academic progress. A student who consistently falls below a GPA of 2.0 will be placed on a Student Grade Improvement Contract. A meeting will be held with the student and guardians to review the contract, which will outline a plan for the student to improve their academic standing. Should the student fail to meet the requirements of the contract by the specified date, an additional meeting will be held to discuss the academic standing of the student. Future enrollment at Crestview may also be discussed should it be warranted.
Tutoring sessions - Students whose grades fall below the "C" level will be required to attend mandatory tutoring. This policy applies to all courses offered at Crestview. The student will be required to come to tutorials with their teacher until their grade is back to the "C" level. Session times will be dictated by the teacher and/or administration.
In addition to the requirements above, teachers may require students to attend additional tutoring if they feel there is a need.
